My Journey
My low-paying job wasn't just affecting me; it was straining my relationship. Money was always tight, leading to arguments about bills and preventing us from doing fun things together. The stress I carried from work often spilled over, making me irritable and less present. I felt like my job was actively damaging my connection with my partner.
Thinking about ATC, I worried about the demanding training schedule and shift work. Would I have even *less* time for my relationship? Would the stress of the job make me even harder to be around? I feared trading financial strain for time scarcity and job-related stress that could also harm the relationship.
ATCAT Academy's flexible online training was a huge help. I could study without sacrificing all my free time, allowing me to maintain connection with my partner during the preparation phase. Talking with instructors about managing shift work for relationships was also insightful. Successfully completing the challenging training boosted my confidence, making me feel more positive and capable, which improved my overall mood at home.
Now, the financial stability from my ATC career has removed a massive source of conflict from my relationship. We argue less about money and can afford to go on dates and vacations, strengthening our bond. While shift work requires planning, the overall reduction in financial stress and my improved sense of self-worth (thanks to career success initiated by ATCAT) has made our relationship stronger and happier. ATCAT Academy was the catalyst for improving not just my finances, but my relationship too.
